1. General provisions

This Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) explains which cookies and similar technologies USTATS uses on the u-stats.net website (the “Website”) and in the USTATS cloud platform (the “Platform”), why they are needed, how long they are kept and how you can control them.

In this Policy, USTATS means ТОВ «ЮСТАТС УКРАЇНА». The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy; this Policy supplements it.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and receives back with subsequent requests. They make it possible to remember, for example, the language you selected or the fact that you are signed in.

Similar technologies are the browser’s local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage). They also store data on your device but are not sent to the server automatically. In this Policy, all of these are collectively referred to as “cookies” unless stated otherwise.

Cookies can be first-party (set by USTATS) or third-party (set by other companies whose services are embedded in a page). By lifetime, they can be session cookies (deleted when the browser or tab is closed) or persistent cookies (kept for a set period).

3. Which cookies we use

USTATS uses only first-party cookies that are necessary for the Website and the Platform to work and to remember settings that you have chosen yourself.

We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels or web analytics services, and we do not share cookie data with third parties.

Category Purpose Consent required
Strictly necessary Signing in, session security, storing your choice in the cookie banner No
Functional (on request) Remembering settings you have chosen yourself: language, interface layout No
Analytics and marketing Not used Yes, if introduced

4. Cookies on the u-stats.net Website

Name Purpose Category Retention Set by
consent Stores your choice in the cookie banner (“Accept all” or “Necessary only”) so that the banner is not shown again Strictly necessary 180 days USTATS
locale Remembers the language you selected in the language switcher so that the Website opens in it on your next visit Functional 1 year USTATS

The locale cookie is set only after you select a language in the switcher yourself. Both cookies apply only to the Website’s domain, are sent only over a secure HTTPS connection and are not used for tracking on other websites.

Fonts, icons and other Website resources are loaded from our own servers, so no third-party services set cookies when you visit the Website. Requests submitted via the form on the Contacts page are sent to the USTATS server and do not create cookies.

5. Cookies and storage in the USTATS Platform

After you sign in, the Platform uses the following technologies:

Name Technology Purpose Category Retention
session_id Cookie Sign-in session identifier: renews authorization and protects the account. Not accessible to page scripts (HttpOnly), sent only over HTTPS Strictly necessary 30 days or until you sign out
auth.tokens localStorage Access tokens that keep you signed in across all open tabs Strictly necessary Until you sign out
app.integrations.create sessionStorage Temporarily keeps integration connection settings while you complete authorization with Google or Meta Strictly necessary Until the tab is closed
app.locale localStorage Platform interface language Functional Until you change the language or clear browser data
app.menu.collapsed localStorage Side menu state (collapsed or expanded) Functional Until you clear browser data

6. Third-party services

When connecting Google Ads or Meta Ads, you are redirected to the Google or Meta authorization pages. These companies use their own cookies on their pages under their own rules, which USTATS does not control:

External links on the Website also lead to resources with their own cookie rules.

The strictly necessary and functional cookies listed in Sections 4 and 5 are used without separate consent, because without them it is impossible to provide the service you have requested: signing in, operating the Platform or remembering the settings you have chosen. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and EU Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) apply, such use is permitted under their provisions on strictly necessary storage of information on a device.

If USTATS starts using analytics, marketing or other optional cookies, they will be set only after you give consent through the cookie banner. Before that, this Policy will be updated with the cookie names, their purposes, retention periods and data recipients.

8. How to manage cookies

  • Website settings. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of the use of cookies before the withdrawal.
  • Browser settings. Your browser lets you view, delete and block cookies and clear local storage. Instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
  • Signing out deletes the session_id cookie and the auth.tokens tokens.

If you block strictly necessary cookies, signing in to the Platform and some Website features may stop working.

9. Changes to this Policy

USTATS may update this Policy when the cookies used, the features of the Website and the Platform, or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the last update is shown at the top. If the changes require new consent, it will be requested through the cookie banner.
